Tonight is the night before school starts. I've laid out their clothes as they picked them, I have set the alarm clocks and school bags are packed. I thought that by the time this day came I would be ready for them to go but I'M NOT!! I want another month of lazy mornings cuddling in my bed and deciding whether to swim before lunch or after.
This is a happy time (at least I keep telling myself) but it is also sad. This marks the end of my "Mommy of Preschoolers" time. I am officially not only a mother of school aged kids I am also now a working mommy. It will be an adjustment but it will be a good one.
